My high-profile banking client are recruiting for a Technical Architect with Java experience to work in the Dublin based offices on an initial 6 - 12-month contract with the possibility to extend the contract and eventually becoming permanent. This is greatopportunity.
Role Description
Digital Channels sits within the Global Banking & Markets Technology organisation and Global Transaction Services which provide liquidity management, payments and receipts, trade and supply chain finance, foreign exchange and commercial card services to smallbusinesses, middle market companies, and to multinational corporations, financial institutions, and governments around the world.

The Team
Digital Channels sits within the Global Markets organisation and Global Transaction Services which provide liquidity management, payments and receipts, trade and supply chain finance, foreign exchange and commercial card services to small businesses, middlemarket companies, and to multinational corporations, financial institutions, and governments around the world.
The global Digital Channels team deliver high profile Financial Technology initiatives such as the Global Markets and Banking API initiative, the ever-changing world of payments and the power to transact anywhere with CashPro© Mobile.
Core skills - Required and Preferred
O Extensive Java development experience - in-depth knowledge of core Java, JEE, including Spring.
O Experience of Containers and/or micro services (preferred)
O Self-starting with the ability to drive the delivery of projects from inception to completion.
O Previous experience of Agile. Experience level 5-10 years.
O Excellent organisational and communication skills.
O Experience with Agile project methodologies
O Experience in using software configuration management systems (e.g., Bitbucket).
O Ability to seek out information with little direction
Nice to have
O Experience in the Banking domain, particularly Treasury and Payments
