**English Tutor**

**Salary: £25 - £35 per hour**
**Contract Type: Full-Time**

GSL Education’s North Yorkshire branch is seeking **English Tutor** to work at a client school based in **York** starting in **April 2024**.

**English Tutor Responsibilities**:

- Work 1:1 with student and provide personalized support.
- Tailor lesson plans and teaching methods to meet the specific learning needs and goals of the student.
- Liaise with the relevant staff members to plan appropriate lessons, in-line with their expected grades and ability.
- Foster a love for the English language by incorporating engaging and relevant materials.
- Align tutoring sessions with the national curriculum or relevant examination requirements.
- You will contribute to aspirational teaching, learning and assessment; and keep accurate records for student’s progress.

**As the ideal English Tutor, you will**:

- Have a Degree in English at 2:2 or higher, or a UK teaching qualification.
- Relevant experience working as a Tutor or as an English Teacher.
- Be able to provide relevant reference information.
