The Audiology Department is looking for a caring and empathetic person with good communication and organisational skills to join our team. We will provide training for you to become an Audiology Assistant where you will work closely with our Audiologists to provide support and aftercare to our patients who wear hearing aids.
The role is very rewarding and will involve helping patients who have a broken hearing aid or need further aftercare support. Shropshire Audiology is in a rural county so to make things easier for the patient we have several clinics in the community and offer home visits as well as appointments at the main Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
Our Audiology department is keen on developing staff and where possible providing training opportunities.
There are two positions vacant and these posts will be based at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
