**Job Summary**:

- To support the Virtual School team on all matters relating to SEN.
- To accept and act upon escalations from Education Advisors and management relating to SEN cases that require intervention.
- To provide consultation and guidance to the leadership team, Education Advisors and Social Workers on SEN.

**Key Duties/Accountabilities**:

- To design, plan and deliver SEN training to the Virtual School team and Designated Teachers relating to trauma, attachment and issues impacting on academic development.
- To keep up to date on developments and legislation/guidance on SEN and Matters relating to SEN and Children in Care.
- To support the Virtual School leadership team on all matters relating to Previously Looked after children/Young people (PLAC)
- To act upon queries, referrals and requests from the Education Advisors and Social Workers relating to PLAC. This will include provision of IAG to Foster Carers, young people, and Schools.
- To design, plan and deliver training to Designated Teachers relating to trauma, attachment and issues impacting on academic development of PLAC.
- To Carry and maintain a caseload of CLA for CIN and Previously Looked after Children.

**Essential Experience Required**:

- SEN experience required.

**Essential Qualifications Required**:

- Teaching qualification.

- This is a hybrid position and attendance at office when required (Tooley Street Se1).
