Kitchen Assistant - Midway Truckstop Ltd.

Well look no further than our family run Midway Truckstop, Whitchurch.

Hours Approximately: 28 per week,
Mon/Wed/Fri 3pm-8pm
Sat 9-4
Sun 9-3

Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Keeping front of house clean & tidy
- Serving food to customers
- Pot wash
- General cleaning duties throughout café - including toilets & high-contact surfaces

Characteristics desirable for the role:

- A friendly and approachable manner to customers & colleagues alike
- Polite & calm approach to high-pressure situations
- Clean, Smart-casual dress - Black T-shirt preferred but uniform will be supplied
- Confidence in speaking to customers
- Good initiative & ability to see what needs doing without instruction at times
- Good level of fitness for physically demanding job

Although our kitchen can be extremely busy and physically demanding at times, we are a family run business who like our staff to feel part of a supported team, with plenty of banter and fun on the job.

Schedule:

- Overtime
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Dishwashers & Kitchen Porters: 1 year (preferred)
