**Happy Days Nursery is coming to Verwood in Summer 2024 and is seeking Room Leaders to join our team**
**This is an incredible opportunity to join us prior to our Nursery opening, offering you the experience to support the setup of our brand nursery and receive an in-depth induction to our curriculum and working practices.**
As Room Leader you will play a vital role in helping us inspire the future for our children, by offering them the very best care and education using our unique curriculum “Where Children Shine” You will also support your room-based colleagues, overseeing the day-to-day running of your allocated nursery room.
Your roles and responsibilities as Room Leader would include
- **Performance**
- Embodying our SHINE values (Support, Honesty, Inspiration, Nurturing and Empowerment) in everything you do
- Supporting the effective running on the nursery by being organised, and have the ability to plan and prioritise your work
- Being positive, confident and honest
- Having great initiative and a “can do” attitude
- Knowing and upholding our policies, procedures and established working practices
- Holding a recognised level 3 qualification in childcare
- Supporting, mentoring and coaching colleagues, through induction, supervision and appraisal
**Outstanding Childcare**
- Being a “key person” for a group of children, ensuring that their care and development needs are being met at all times
- Using our unique “Where Children Shine” curriculum to observe, plan and assess children’s learning opportunities
- Understanding and implementing safeguarding, health and safety and welfare requirement policies and practices
- Leading the quality delivery in your allocated room
