Pennine Playgrounds is a professional playground installation company based in West Yorkshire.
Working throughout the UK, we specialise in the installation of playgrounds, including all equipment, groundworks and surfacing works.
**About the job**
Working as part of a team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our playground installations are delivered to the highest quality and in line with the project brief. This involves interpreting technical drawings, following instructions and thinking on your feet. The role requires engagement with a broad range of tasks from kit installation, groundworks, maintenance of equipment and installation of surfacing.
Some of the specific duties and requirements are, but not limited to, the following:
- Following the sequence of works to ensure a safe and efficient installation
- Site work - general labour, excavation, assembly and installation of equipment
- Reading and following design plans, technical drawings, and installation instructions
- Using hand and power tools
- Use of our project management app 'Work Wallet' for project documentation, project updates, tool checks etc
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to carry out physically demanding work including heavy lifting
- Willingness to work flexible hours including regular overtime
- Regular travel throughout the North of England (and often further afield) when required, sometimes staying away for a number of nights at a time
- Communicating and working well with others on your team
- Actively engaging with training and professional development opportunities
- Providing excellent customer service and professionalism at all times
**About you**
First and foremost, you must display a positive attitude, be hardworking and show pride in your work. Due to the nature of the role, it will benefit you to be physically fit. You will have relevant experience in landscaping / groundworks or similar trades (maybe even playground installation) and are able to demonstrate competence in using a variety of hand and power tools.

- Essential requirements_
- A full, clean(ish) UK driving licence
- An Enhanced DBS disclosure
- General construction knowledge and experience
- Familiarity with a variety of hand tools
- Punctual and professional
- Desirable requirements_
- CSCS card
- Other relevant qualifications such as chainsaw, telehandler, digger etc
- Experience in playground or canopy installation
- Experience in grading, excavation or groundworks
- Experience in landscaping
- Knowledge of BSEN1176 and BSEN1177
