we are looking for a friendly, motivated individual to join us. you will be working as a member of the inpatient therapy team to assist the therapists in assessing, planning and delivering rehabilitation programs to our service users.

Rehabilitation Assistants work as part of a close team undertaking activities according to their individual goal plans, encouraging them to do as much as possible for themselves, to live well and safely.
Rehabilitation Assistants do this by motivating and inspiring people to re-learn daily skills and enhance their quality of life. You will provide practical and 'hands-on’ personal care as well as encouraging people and working with them to do the things that are important to them.
Team working and communication skills are essential. You will update written notes and electronic records. You will be fully trained to assist people to meet their needs, which can range from motivational support to personal care.
this will predominantly involve working in the inpatient hospital setting but may require visits to the service users' own homes or other settings
Successful applicants will have the opportunity to discuss the prospect of undertaking a Level 3 Healthcare Support Worker Apprenticeship alongside their substantive post, this apprenticeship would include the Level 3 Diploma in Clinical Healthcare.

This post requires the post holder to be able to undertake all statutory and mandatory training and post holders must be able to undertake physical interventions. Fitness for physical intervention will be assessed by Occupational Health.
