We are now recruiting Support Workers to join our friendly well-established teams in Dereham, Norfolk.
Roles are permanent, with part & full time contracts available for up to 37.5 hours per week. We are offering Support Workers in Dereham £10.75 per hour/£20,961 per annum FTE.
Our services are personalised to the individuals that live in them and the people that provide the support. We want to ensure those that provide their support feel the same way about activities and life as they do.
We have 2 supported living flats with one individual in each flat and both have visual impairment. One is mobile and requires mínimal support and the other requires more physical support. Each individual is provided with care and support tailored to their individual needs.
As a Support Worker you will be lone working. You will be supporting the individuals with accessing the community and take part in a range of activities to support their health and well being. You will be required to be a driver who has a full UK license.
Care is provided around the clock and this will include providing support to the individuals e.g providing support with medical administration, cooking, supporting with meal times and household tasks. Your role would also include personal care, medication administration and a small amount of manual handling (hoisting) where necessary.
We are flexible in our shifts and the gerneral shift patterns are as follows: 7:00am-4:00pm and 4:00pm-10:00pm. Sleep-ins are also available as overtime. This will be discussed with you at interview.
We do also have a residential and supported living service nearby and you will also have the opportunity to work across the services if you prefer.
