This expansion includes significant growth in our global team and a substantial investment in our technical and operational infrastructure. We have recently moved into ournew Technical Development Centre in Dunnington, York housing 30 scientific and administrative employees. We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic people to join us on our exciting journey to enhance global food security.

Reporting into the Fermentation Lead, you will be an integral member of a small team supporting all aspects of Microbial Bioprocessing across Azotic’s product and pipeline development teams.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support our Microbial Process Development in bench scale bioreactors
- Support the quality systems to implement and manage Microbial Fermentation within Azotic.
- Support of scale up of key process developments
- Provide regular updates into the CTO and Fermentation Lead.
- ­­Support a continuous improvement culture within the laboratory environment.
- Work closely with the Laboratory Technician to ensure continued support of Laboratories.
- Experience with operating bench scale bioreactors.
- Detail-orientated with good organisational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, proven collaborator with ability to work independently and to integrate well within a team.
- Balance of patience and persistence to organise your own work to provide diligent and reliable outputs.
- Proficient use of computer programs (e.g. Excel, Word).
- A self-motivated individual who thrives on success of themselves and others.
