_**Food Preparation Lead**_

Dishpatch is a food delivery company that aims to bring the dining experience of renowned, high-end restaurants to customers' homes throughout the United Kingdom. We’ve been in operation since March 2020 and have formed partnerships with notable chefs and restaurants such as Angela Hartnett, Ottolenghi, and Fergus Henderson's St. JOHN. We have been able to deliver tens of thousands of meals to customers so far. As the company is currently expanding and relocating to a bigger location, we believe that it is a prime opportunity for individuals to join our expanding team and be a part of the company's growth.

**The ROLE**
- Working hours - Mon to Fri
- 20-40 Hours per week average depending on your requirements and business demand
- Contract and company pension
- Start times variable per day (early and late)
- Paid Holiday

**Main responsibilities**:

- Plan in advance the assembly lines and organise team members to work effectively
- Monitor production process and ensure the team is meeting food safety standards
- Work in a team to measure, weigh and count food products
- Packaging and labeling food products ensuring they are sealed properly - involves using vacuum packing equipment
- Take bulk food materials and portion them out into smaller containers
- Group smaller containers into different menus and box them
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment

**Other responsibilities**:

- Help carrying ice packs
- Help creating boxes

**Requirements**:

- Good level of English
- Good level of Google Sheets
- Experience working in food manufacturing industry
- Experience working in a fast-paced team
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and high quality
- Level 2 Food Safety certificate (desirable)

**Recruitment process**
- Initial 30min face to face interview with Operations team leads
- Trial shift in our fulfilment centre based in North Greenwich
