The British Library is embarking on a period of exciting transformation, with high profile capital projects, ambitious digital programmes and initiatives to grow and diversify our audience. We are looking for a finance business partner (CCAB part qualified or AAT qualified) to put finance at the heart of decision making, providing advice and support to stakeholders on strategic and operational decisions. This will include oversight, guidance and challenge to senior officers and programme managers, as well as input and expert advice on business cases.

You will have the ability to interpret financial and performance information in layman’s terms as a basis for advising management and recommending courses of action, including the ability to translate the numbers into a business story. As well as an innovative and proactive approach to exploiting change opportunities and promoting best practice.

You will be assisted in this with generous training opportunities, supportive colleagues and ongoing guidance to help you flourish in the role.
