**Assistant**

Connexus Group of Companies offer bespoke specialist insurance products including c motor and household legal expenses, landlord and rent guarantee, commercial legal expenses and automotive ancillary products, to insurers, brokers and MGA’S nationally.

We are currently seeking an assistant from an insurer, MGA or broker background to help in the submission of claims bordereau to our insurers, and to assist our team with onboarding new business.

You will be part of the team based at our offices in Warrington and will act as a point of liaison between ourselves and underwriters/brokers and on a day-to-day transactional level. In addition, you will assist with some credit control and liaison with brokers on product queries and claims.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Distribution of policy wordings and IPID’s to brokers and insurers.
- Help resolve day to day queries, referrals and validations via telephone and mailboxes.
- Assist in audits
- Maintain and develop relationships with brokers and clients.
- CRM management and maintenance in relation to products for the purpose of LEI validation
- Preparation and maintenance of spreadsheets for reporting
- Payment of claims from managed fund accounts
- Preparation and finalisation of monthly claims bordereau for our underwriter
- Data query identification and resolution
- Issuing of documentation
- Manually producing documents where necessary
- Administration of TGSL system
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and business partners
- General administrative and support to the wider underwriting and sales support function

**Skills/Attributes**:

- Basic understanding of Insurance claims would be advantageous.
- Possess strong organisational skills and excellent time management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Be able to demonstrate clear thought process.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- High standard of literacy and numeracy
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Transactor and Open GI is advantageous.

*This is not a sales role but general support for brokers and assisting in contact with underwriters would be part of the remit and good communication skills would be an advantage.
