Clerical Officer

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Clerical Officer to join our busy service based in the Lung Function and Sleep Apnoea Service in University Hospital Llandough. The post holder will be a key part in the successful delivery of providing spirometry in a community setting.

The post holder will look forward to a challenging and rewarding work environment, in which finding a balance between team working and using initiative is key.

Experience of working with the public in a Healthcare setting and use of IT systems would be an advantage.
- Receiving referrals both electronic and paper
- Booking clinics
- Sending letters to patients
- Managing clinic/appointment cancellations and rescheduling
- Arranging for clinic lists to be distributed to clinic locations in readiness for clinic
- Point of contact for patient queries
- Arranging for results to be sent to relevant clinicians

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
