**This job is Term Time Only (TTO)**

**General Duties**

Ensuring a high-quality catering service is delivered to students, staff and visitors of the Trust

Preparing and serving food (which complies with the principles and requirements of nutrition for school children)

Assisting with menu planning

Maintaining necessary paperwork, files, documents and other required administration in an accurate and timely fashion

Ordering supplies and stock control

Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, food hygiene regulations and all relevant Trust policies and procedures at all times

Line Manage kitchen staff

**Other Duties**

Participate in regular staff meetings and training as and when required

Willingness to work overtime if required

Safeguard and promote the welfare of children/vulnerable adults for whom you have responsibility or come into contact with, to include adhering to all specified procedures

Carry out duties with full regard to the Trust’s Child & Vulnerable Adult Protection, Equality and other relevant polices in the terms of employment and service delivery to ensure that colleagues are treated and services delivered in a fair and consistent manner

Comply with health and safety policies and systems, report any incidents/accidents/hazards and take pro-active approach to health and safety matters in order to protect both yourself and others

Comply with health and safety, food and food hygiene legislation

Any other duties of a similar nature related to the post, which may be required from time to time

Comply with all Trust policies, including the no smoking policy

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 27.5 per week

**Salary**: £11.39-£11.59 per hour
