We are a global leader in the marine navigation systems industry, providing integrated technical solutions for the commercial sector. We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our head office team in New Malden as Facilities Lead. In this role you will lead the Sperry Marine Facilities function globally. The portfolio comprises 16 sites in 9 countries globally and includes office space, workshops, warehousing, training facilities and software/hardware laboratory space.

This role is key to maintaining the safe and compliant operation of all Sperry Marine facilities, by:

- Recommending and executing office design, furnishings and remedial works in liaison with EHS and IT
- Developing and managing building, furnishings and equipment maintenance schedules and records globally
- Managing relationships with vendors and contractors whilst ensuring compliance
- Initiating, leading and overseeing C.I projects associated with our Global Facilities footprint

To ensure success this role is largely supported by a network of stakeholders both internally within Sperry Marine, and our corporate partner, and external bodies as necessary.

Further responsibilities include:

- Liaise and collaborate with our corporate partner as building owners.
- Support and offer strategic direction to each Site Lead across all sites.
- Define and manage budgets for all aspects of global facilities.
- Assist with projects affecting changes to the building or extending the workplace.
- Develop facility procurement processes and oversee ongoing activities.
- Implement and support best practice tendering processes and good governance of vendor contracts.
- With support of NG Sector Real Estate coordinate all global leases and insurances.
- Support the environmental strategy, objectives and deliverables to support the overall CSR objectives of the Company.

- Experience in facility coordination, project management, or real estate.
- Experience of building and equipment maintenance planning and schedules.
- Reliable under pressure and make sound decisions quickly in emergency situations.
- Excellent organisational, customer service and communication skills.
- Skilled at prioritising different demands and tasks.
- Proficiency in office software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and Microsoft 365.
- Strong administrative skills.
- Budget management experience (desirable)
- IOSH Managing Safely certified (desirable)
- A completed course in facilities management (desirable)
