DegreeSix is a specialist recruitment agency, we are looking for experienced support workers to work alongside Young People with Challenging Behaviours, Emotional Behavioural Difficulties and Learning Disabilities (Aged 6-17) in several of the top Residential Services within Hampshire.

Many of the homes we assist require staff to be interactive and bring new ideas to the home in order to support and encourage the young people to live their life to the fullest

We require staff who have experience with challenging behaviours, learning disabilities, mental health and emotional behavioural needs. You will be working on a 1:1 and 2:1 basis with the residents supporting with day-to-day activities.

**The role includes**:

- Organising and accompanying the young people on social or educational activities and appointments
- Building relationships with the young people, staff and their family members
- Recording the activity & reporting key aspects of their care
- Promoting independence and developing their life skills
- Helping them to develop interests and hobbies and flourish in doing what they enjoy

**The following would be ideal**:

- 3+ Months of experience in a Social Care setting (Essential)
- Full UK driving licence (Prefferable but not neccesary)
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (Prefferable but not necessary)
