The purpose of the post is to maintain and develop the necessary financial, governance and business support for Castaway Goole Ltd, a charity for adults with learning and physical disabilities, providing performing and multimedia opportunities.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Carry out finance administration including invoice handling and data input onto the existing accounting system, including salary journals.
2. Payroll
3. Carry out monthly reconciliations and prepare bi-monthly financial reports for the Trustees; update and monitor cash flow.
4. Undertake financial management of funded projects, maintaining budgets and working with project leaders to meet restricted funding requirements.
5. Prepare annual accounts for audit and assist with information for Annual Report
6. Liaise with Castaway’s administrative team, leaders and managers with regard to payment of suppliers, missing payments and cash income systems.
7. Develop, maintain and improve as required Castaway’s current accounting system.
8. Liaise with banks, auditors if necessary and other related parties on matters within the above responsibilities and answer queries on financial matters from project managers / management / trustees.
9. As Company Secretary liaise with the Board of Trustees, attending and administering meetings and ensuring that the organisation complies with its governing document, charity and company law, completing the annual returns for maintaining registration of the company and charity.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: From £13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
