We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic Kitchen Staff Members to join our dynamic growing cinema team at our amazing independent Parade Cinema in Marlborough, where you can be part of a team who are all about providing the best customer experience around - Film - Friends - Food.

Opened in 2021, the Parade Cinema screens the latest blockbusters as well as a diverse mix of films from around the world. We live stream events, theatre, opera, ballet and concerts. We host the Marlborough Parade Family Festival (July 8th this year) and provide a premier event location in Marlborough for parties, family and business events. And we offer great food - all prepared inhouse, as well as sell a wide range of drinks and snacks to make an all round great customer experience. We've even been reviewed on an American film based YouTube channel - and so our reach and reputation goes far beyond just Marlborough

**What your role will involve**:
The role will primarily and initially be a kitchen role, but you will also have the opportunity to learn front of house skills to add support in that area. As a vital member of our kitchen team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our cinema’s food preparation and service. Your passion for cooking, dedication to maintaining high-quality standards, adherence to food safety guidelines, and ability to work collaboratively with the kitchen team and front of house team will contribute to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Your responsibilities will be varied and will include:

- Food Preparation: Assist in preparing a variety of dishes, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards.
- Cooking and preparing: Execute cooking techniques under the guidance of the general manager and/or kitchen supervisor to produce delicious and presentable meals.
- Plating: Responsible for the attractive and artistic presentation of dishes, ensuring that they adhere to the cinemas visual guidelines.
- Food Safety and Hygiene: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, follow proper food handling procedures, and uphold strict hygiene standards to guarantee the safety of our guests and fellow team members.
- Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring and restocking kitchen supplies, ingredients, and equipment as needed to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Team Collaboration: Work harmoniously with the management, kitchen team and front of house, communicating effectively to expedite orders and maintain a smooth flow of operations.
- Adaptability: Be prepared to multitask and switch between different kitchen stations as required to meet changing demands and ensure efficient service.
- Dishwashing and Cleaning: Support the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, and ensure the overall cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area.
- Compliance: Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations, as well as cinema policies and procedures.
- Continuous Improvement: Strive to enhance your culinary skills and stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in the food industry.
- Support the Front of House team with a range of duties including serving customers, drinks and food; helping maintain cinema cleanliness; operating our point of sale

We offer a starting rate of pay at £10.50/hr with the opportunity for increase as you progress and develop your skills within the kitchen and across the cinema. Benefits include:
