**Web Editor - Publishing**

My client is growing and looking for a web editor and publishing. You must be eligible to work in UK without any restrictions if have experience in ecommerce or hardware that would be a bonus.

**Web Editor must have**:

- Proven experience of team management in an online or editorial environment
- Proven experience of managing workflow in a publishing environment
- Excellent knowledge of SEO and traffic acquisition
- Able to use WordPress and Google Analytics to a professional standard
- Excellent copy editing skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Specialist knowledge of PC hardware and components
- A keen eye for content trends and how to optimise editorial output to suit current audience needs and brand objectives
- Digital media experience within industry - hardware.

**Desirable**
- Experience of workflow scheduling tools such as Nifty.
- Experience of working with Amazon affiliate links.
- Experience working with web designers and graphic artists.
- Experience of Hardware industry events and relevant contacts.
- Experience of optimising content specifically for social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok etc).

The web editor’s role is to oversee scheduling, management and production of all content.. The job will require previous resource management skills in order to ensure that content is delivered on time across the site as well as working closely with SEO, video and social media teams to ensure brand consistency across all platforms. As well as managing the team of writers and content creators, the editor will be expected to contribute copy where necessary and develop a long-term strategic content plan to meet traffic targets. The editor will also be required to act as the public face of the site, taking part in podcasts and interviews, and maintaining a high standard of work across the site.
