**Being a Hillcroft Deputy Matron**

As part of your hands-on role in the Hillcroft family, you will be the Deputy Matron of our Carnforth home and responsible for:

- Complete monthly care pathway and medication audits. Note any areas of concern and implement corrective action liaising with the Matron
- Assist the Matron with staff supervision and appraisals when requested
- Carry out annual medication competencies with nursing staff
- Monitor medical stock usage, including periodic stock taking, and ensure availability of medical supplies
- Share the 'on call' responsibility in agreement with the Matron

**About You**
- Must be able to demonstrate a track record in motivating, managing and developing staff
- Have a clear understanding of leadership responsibilities in social care
- Hold excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have the right to work in the UK
- Undergo an enhanced DBS check (we will assist you with this)
- Have two satisfactory references (one of which must be from your last/present employer)
- Ability to demonstrate Hillcroft’s company values
