At Gregory Distribution Ltd, we have a vacancy for a
** Transport Planner (Nights) **based at our
**Cullompton **Depot.

**The position will involve**:

- Assisting with planning and organising the activities of the Transport Operation, including deliveries and collections.
- Providing support across several locations including South Molton and Highbridge.
- Ensuring that vehicle activity is planned in the most efficient manner.
- Dealing with any queries from Drivers, debriefing Drivers, Handing over daily to the Day Transport Planning team.
- Meeting on a regular basis with Transport Managers to ensure that we are operating efficiently.
- Identifying and developing additional areas where we can add value to existing contracts.
- Liaising with the warehouse to ensure that trailers and vehicles are available when required.
- Communicating with internal and external customers with regards to the night operation.
- Ensuring that all contracted work is covered in line with customers expectations.
- Meeting daily revenue KPI Targets and reporting to the Transport Manager on a weekly basis.
- Communicating collection times and delivery bookings with customers.
- Adherence to policies and procedures within the Business Area.
- Ensuring that our TMS system is updated and monitored.
- Company Safe Systems of Work must be observed and followed at all times.
