Monday to Thursday 6.00am to 2.00pm / 2.00pm to 10.00pm

Friday 6.00am to 1.00pm / 1.00pm to 8.00pm

Platt & Hill Limited is one of the UK’s leading polyester fibre processing and polyurethane foam converters, supplying the upholstery/furniture industry with high quality thermal bonded polyester wadding, latex and polyurethane foam conversion, polyester cushions and contract pillows. Established in the late 19th century the family run and owned company has earned itself a reputation of supplying quality fillings to the furniture industry.

**Job Purpose**:
Reporting to the Departmental Manager the Supervisor will be expected to oversee all shift related activities in our foam department while also working on the CNC machine to cut polythane foam to specification for the upholstery industry. The role is heavy duty and very physical. The supervisor will be responsible for the effective operation of a small team in the department, maintain standards of performance and quality as laid down by the Company and to achieve targets of production in accordance with Company demands.
