Subway Sandwich Artist 24hrs

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sandwich Artist based at our Spar / Shell Garage store on Birchwood Ave. This role is for a minimum 24 hours a week, you will need to work a mix of mornings (6.30 am starts), mid's, and late's (8pm Finishes) including weekends on a rota basis. Will be required to work extra shifts when needed.

The applicant will be someone who likes to have fun, hard working within a team and is passionate about offering excellent service and standards to our customers.

We are looking for someone who is motivated, friendly, hands-on and enjoys working in retail.

Hickson's is a family business operating three stores in Lincoln and North Hykeham. Beginning as a butchers in 1903 we have grown into three fast paced SPAR convenience stores offering everything from newspapers & groceries to fuel, Post Office and Subway.

**JOB PURPOSE**

To assist in maximising sales and profit of the Subway operation by carrying out allocated tasks in order to contribute to the continuous improvement of the department and provision of friendly, efficient service to customers, colleagues and visitors.

**Key Tasks/Responsibilities**:

- To deliver customer service in line with Subway Service standards
- To contribute ideas for driving the department and it’s team forward
- To use relevant processes and policies to ensure the security of people, stock and cash
- Reports all customer complaints to manager on duty
- To comply with relevant legislation and health and food safety responsibilities as defined in the induction period and training.

Will be required to work early morning starts (6:30 am) will include a mix of mornings, evenings and weekends on a rota working up to 8.30pm
