Awaken are seeking a proactive, tenacious and motivated practitioner to work with children and young people at risk of exploitation. The Practitioner must have experience working with Adolescents and be able to evidence their skill set and experience and how they are able to engage with 'hard to reach' young people to improve their outcomes.

Awaken is a multi-agency team comprising of Social Care, Police and Health. We have strong links with the Community Safety Partnership Team, Licensing Officers, Education, Neighbourhood Police, Youth Justice and Third sector services. As a practitioner on the team you will work closely with other services in order to effectively target, disrupt and safeguard children and young people from exploitation.

Awakens model of practice is all about about building trusted relationships using a trauma informed model, to bring about positive change and safeguard our young people.

Our innovative and creative approaches allows us to engage with young people outside of the statutory constraints, and dedicate the necessary time to children and young people who need our support the most.
