Jackson Hogg are looking to recruit a Receptionist for a growing manufacturing company based in Bedlington.
**Overview of the Receptionist Position**
The post holder is required to cover all duties related to the reception desk, providing an excellent first impression. You will work in a busy and changing environment, ensuring customer satisfaction and care amongst clients, visitors and internal staff.
The post holder will have a friendly attitude, be able to multi-task and organise with confidence, use their initiative and demonstrate good time keeping skills.
You must be based in the region and be eligible to work in the UK.
**Key Responsibilities of the Receptionist**
- Greets and interacts professionally with all internal and external customers using strong interpersonal skills providing direction and to address customer’s needs
- Answering telephone calls through the main switchboard
- Maintain a friendly and professional service
- Monitors and replenish company stationary supplies
- Ordering and issuing of company workwear
- Postal duties
- Updating communication boards across the site
- General adhoc administrative support for the HR department / General Manager as required
**Core Requirements of the Receptionist**
- Educated to GCSE Level.
- Experience of working in a similar role.
- Must be friendly and approachable
- Administrative support experience
- Competent in MS Office Packages
- Strong communication skills both verbally and over the telephone
- Excellent punctuality, time-management and organisational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multitask effectively and adapt to competing demands
- Ability to maintain professional demeanor
- Willingness to help out as required
- Ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality
- Flexible and adaptable
- Strong English language skills
**Desirable Skills and Experience**
- Business Administration Qualification
- Maths and English GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent)
