**JOB OVERVIEW**

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Duty Manager / Supervisorwho has great team leadership, management and customer service skills.

Working as a Duty Manager / Supervisor you will take on a role that is varied and interesting and you will definitely get involved in all aspects of facility management and lead on specific areas as requested by the Centre Manager.

As a Duty Manager / Supervisoryou will have managerial experience with skills you can transfer over to this role. A previous leisure background would be great. But not essential.

**DUTIES**

Your duties as a Duty Manager / Supervisorinclude:

- Ensure the smooth and secure opening and closing of the facility
- Ensure that required staffing levels and rotas are maintained
- Supervise the work undertaken by all members of staff, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and housekeeping maintained
- Ensure the efficient induction and effective training of new staff
- Liaise with external contractors and to ensure any minor operational repairs / maintenance are carried out
- Listen to and politely and effectively deal with customer comments / complaints
- Demonstrate a high level of personal motivation by adopting a continuous high profile around the centre for both staff and customers
- Motivate staff to adopt a high level of customer care and awareness
- Assist, as necessary, with the setting out of equipment
- Coordinate and hold meetings on a regular basis with employees
- Collect and bank all monies and the maintenance of accurate records
- Responsible for the Health and Safety of both customers and staff when on duty
- Maintain appropriate stock levels for trading accounts, ensuring that stock checks are carried out on a monthly basis
- Keep customers happy
- Ensure that staff timesheets are signed off as accurate records of attendance

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**
- Previous management / supervisor or team leadership skills
- Excellent customer service skills with experience dealing with members of the public
- The ability to motivate and manage staff
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Great organisational and time management skills
- The ability to work within set budgets
- Has the flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required
- Great problem solver with the ability to handle customer complaints and make decisions to ensure the customer leaves happy
