Accounts Administrator

We have an opportunity for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join the team at TCL in Egremont. Working in Road Surfacing, Civil Engineering and Utilities Sectors for a variety of clients throughout Cumbria and the UK. Ensuring the smooth running of the business, duties will include but are not limited to:
- Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into Sage accounting software
- Paying supplier invoices and tracking customer receipts and bank account balances
- Completing VAT, PAYE & CIS returns
- Verifying the accuracy of business accounts
- Reconciling various spreadsheets on weekly and monthly basis
- Developing monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets
- Preparing employee timesheets on JNC and processing Sage payroll
- Managing employee expense claims
- Helping the Accountant with administrative duties and preparing yearly accounts
Must have experience in excel, sage 50 accounting software and JNC (desirable)
