**About the Role**
We are looking for a Dispatch Operational Performance Lead for our busy operation at Milton Keynes. The Dispatch Operational Performance Lead is responsible for the supervision, effective operational performance and day to day management of the dispatch system, control center and supporting the dispatch management team.

**Essential Competences**:

- Experience in the supervision of people and fleet logistics (ideally PTS or Healthcare), but full training will be provided to the right individual.
- A minimum of three years ambulance dispatching experience within a medium to large organisation.
- Strong reasoning and negotiation skills with ability to effectively resolve conflict
- Ability to engage, inspire, motivate and lead a team
- Capable to work under pressure in a challenging operational environment
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent and effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to produce concise and accurate reports and meeting notes (strong administration skills)
- Competent in the use of IT equipment and systems (including LOGIS, Quintiq, Fleetwave & Microsoft 365 packages)
- Ability to trouble shoot and effectively resolve or escalate issues
- Commitment and flexibility to meet business needs
- Strong geographical understanding and route panning

**Desired Competences**:

- Qualification in Leadership & Management
- Evidence of sustained continuing professional development
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements of CCG authorisation
- Understanding of the NHS and its infrastructure
- Knowledge of CQC and HSE regulations and requirements
- Awareness of data security requirements relevant to the business
