**About The Role**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a
**Warehouse Team Leader** to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career and join a global business with a £2 billion + turnover.

The Warehouse Team Leader will be managing and coordinating their team to ensure that daily targets are achieved and orders fully satisfied to the highest quality and standards.

**Sunday - Thursday, 7am - 4pm**

**Please note that this is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract**

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Working with all departments and various teams within the business unit to ensure all products are produced to the highest quality and standards according to the order requirements
- Ensure that all documentation and checks are completed in accordance with timescale and that both checks and paperwork is fully compliant with guidelines
- Oversee the workload of the warehouse personnel and ensuring that goods are despatched in a timely manner as per departmental KPI’s
- Oversee the goods-in process, location, rotation and management of stock
- Train warehouse Colleagues (including casual staff) in best department practice ensuring staff follow SOP’s and standards
- Communicate any quality, technical, machine or Health & Safety issues to the relevant department in the in the first instance
- Assist in the development of new systems to help with overall efficiencies and stock monitoring
- Seek and drive actions for a continuous improvement environment
- Ensure all colleagues are working in a safe and clean environment - promote a Health & Safety, quality focussed and driven culture within the operation
- To deputise for the Shift Operations Leader when required including the attendance of meetings
- To ensure that all IPL values are demonstrated all the time

**What are we looking for?**
- Previously working in fast moving environment (production desirable)
- Good IT skills (experience with Prophet/similar ERP system desirable)
- Experience with stock control
- Good verbal and written communications skills
- Health and Safety awareness
- Good problem solving
- A willingness to work flexibly and undertake all necessary training
- Previous experience with managing
- Experience with houseplants or flowers desirable
