**Admin Assistant**

Our client is a family-run business, based in South Woodham Ferrers, that has sold tools and consumables to the stone industry for more than 20 years. They have offered years of excellent service to hundreds of loyal UK customers and provide a high-quality,friendly, and informative service. The placement is to join their friendly team, where there is a personal culture and close communication to the owners and other employees in their new and modern premises. They are looking for an Admin Assistant with a dedicatedwork ethic, a willingness to work hard and learn quickly.

**The position responsibilities will include**:

- Assess current stock and update stock system
- Allocate stock to sales orders
- Receiving deliveries
- Raising requests for quotation and prepare purchase orders
- Outstanding order Chasing
- Completing any other reasonable tasks or requests, and assist the sales and purchasing department

**Requirements**:

- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, where telephone skills and multi-tasking are essential
- Relevant customer service and sales experience a minimum of 2 years
- Able to work independently in a busy environment
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office, as well as Windows, with further IT training provided
