**Generator Power** is the UKs largest independent rental generator company, running a fleet from 10KVA to 1250KVA sets to cater for a wide variety of industries such as; Offshore oil and gas, telecoms, manufacturing, events and construction. We have one of the widest ranges in the UK, with generators and ancillary equipment that can handle anything from a planned event to an emergency power shortage.

We get power where it’s needed, with nine depots dotted around England, Scotland and Wales work together to help us respond quickly and efficiently. Plus, our range of specialist vehicles mean we can get to the places others can’t. Providing power for isolated masts, construction sites, tight inner city streets, outdoor events and even offshore platforms are all in a day’s work.

With over 24 years of experience in the industry, Generator Power is growing rapidly and are requiring a Handy Person / Yard Labourer to join the team at our Head Office In Normanton WF6

**_Duties/Responsibilities_**

General labouring duties;
Ensure the workshops and yard areas are swept on a daily basis;
Maintaining the tidiness of the workshop and yard areas;
Preparation and storage of cables;
Washing of Generators, Equipment.

Liaise with Storeperon on yard requirements;
Collecting fencing

Other Adhoc duties given by management;
Able to deal with maintenance issues at residential properties

Collection of goods

Minor repairs (odd job man/women)

**Qualifications/Skills required**:
GCSE High school or equivalent.

FLT Counterbalance (desired but full training will be given)

Towing experience

**Personal characteristics/Attributes required**:
Must be flexible as the job may involve unsociable hours

Good communication skills and the ability to connect naturally with people

Work well on own initiative and as part of a team

Ability to ensure the work gets done in a timely and effective manner

Ability to follow Company policy and procedures.

Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.
