**Our Fixed Line Telecoms division has recently been awarded a £30m contract by CityFibre as part of a programme **to roll out its full fibre network across the city of Sunderland, and we are currently recruiting a Reinstatement Operative **based out of our office in Washington** to oversee a number of reinstatement teams working on the contract.**

**With responsibility for the site management of reinstatement activities, your role as Reinstatement Operative will ensure **the clients’ requirements are met whilst working in line with our health & safety, quality and customer satisfaction objectives. This is a brilliant opportunity for an Operative within the fixed line telecoms space to join an actively expanding business where you will hone your skills and experience, and be supported to develop your career as our presence in the fibre space grows.

As Reinstatement Operative you will be accountable for:

- Ensuring site standards maintained, assisting risk assessment, accident investigation, site instructions and inspections.
- Working to programme.
- Ensuring standards of workmanship maintained. Ensure completion of quality records, continuity of process-capability
- Problem solving / trouble shooting
- Working with health & safety teams to ensure high standards are maintained, working with operatives to ensure key deliverables are being met, progress meetings with the client.
- Recruitment, disciplinary, manpower planning and day to day man-management.

**To succeed as a Reinstatement Operative at United Living, you will have prior experience in a similar role, ideally working on the CityFibre contract. You will have the ability to make things happen - a starter / finisher - and will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, alongside a positive attitude and energetic pace. In addition, you will possess the following**:

- Understanding of the installation of CityFibre network
- NRSWA
- Supervisory Management training
- IOSH / SMSTS
- Extensive experience of working on telecommunications contracts
- Full UK driving license
- Experience of managing contractors (advantageous)
