**The Role Overview**:
The Recoveries Department are responsible for the billing and recovery of monies from the Third-Party Insurer in relation to - Hire and Repair Costs, recovery & storage, excess, loss of earnings and the Pre-accident vehicle value for our Clients.

**What you will be doing;**
- Manage a caseload of claims in line with the Company’s processes and procedures.
- Contact Insurers via telephone or through platforms to obtain settlement of Kindertons outlay within set time frames and parameters given, whilst building and maintaining professional but relaxed relationships.
- Working collaboratively towards the Departments objective of reducing our aged debt.
- Perform a comprehensive review of each claim to ensure it meets the required standard to maximise recovery or to be litigated.
- Assess Liability Disputed claims and potential Indemnity and Fraud.
- Contact all relevant parties to obtain up to date information; the Client, Repairers, Clients Own Insurers, Brokers or Solicitors.
- Maintain Client contact throughout the claim.
- Build strong relationships with all internal departments.
- Any other reasonable requirements made by management

**What we are looking for;**

- Problem Solving - you will find that every claim is different, and some require more investigation and problem solving than others.
- Communication - ability to listen, adapt, persuade and transform.
- Teamwork - you will have your own caseload and targets, which will contribute to the success of the Teams.
- Negotiation - when agreeing settlements with Insurers, there will be occasions you need to negotiate.
- Commercial Awareness - when negotiating with Insurers, you will have a sensible and realistic approach to claims, being aware of the ‘bigger picture’
- Target Driven - comfortable working towards set targets within a sometimes-pressurized environment.
- Able to multitask and reprioritize throughout the day - to complete the daily workload.
- Computer literate using MS Office with good typing skills - to accurately enter client information into our database and record other information without error
