We are currently recruiting on behalf of an Engineering company in Huddersfield for the following postiion:
- **Vertical Lathe Machinist (Nights)**

Minimum Salary is 32K per annum + Shift Allowance
- Manage tooling life, make adjustments, change offsets, and modify programs as needed;
- Adhere to industry safety standards;
- Set-up and operate CNC Lathes;
- Inspect Product while practicing quality assurance procedures;
- Perform in-process inspection as required to ensure 100% quality product;
- Retrieve appropriate tools from tool crib to complete job;
- Meet schedules and maintain quality standards;
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications;
- Set up machines;
- Understand and follow machining policies, instructions, work rules and safety guidelines;
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations;
- Change tools and make offset adjustments; edit CNC programs as required;
- Understand and make adjustments to hold geometric tolerances and geometric dimensions;
- Load/unoad tools.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £32,000.00 per year

- Night shift

**Experience**:

- Machinist: 1 year (preferred)

- Huddersfield (required)
