Wakefield, United Kingdom Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust Full time

To sustain and support our current Ambulance Vehicle Preparation (AVP) requirements we are able to offer a permanent opportunity to join our existing dedicated AVP Operative team.

The position is permanent. It is a full time post working 37.5 hours per week contract based on a 24 hour, 7 day a week rota system including Bank Holidays preparing our frontline operational vehicles.

This role includes working a rota system and the days and evening times are dependent upon current provision required to meet operational/patient demand, but the post offers an opportunity to work outside the usual 9 to 5 daytime routine.

Rota days off are across the 7 day week along with significant financial enhancements for maintaining our provision during the evening and weekend.

The Ambulance Vehicle Preparation is completed throughout every 24 hour period, however a significant number of our vehicles are only available during the night. The working durations include 10 & 12 hour shifts. The post also attracts unsocial hours payments for all night and weekend working. With the inclusion of unsocial hours payments the pay may rise to approximately £27,000 per annum depending on shift patterns.

This vacancy is at Wakefield Ambulance Station.
