- We have an exciting opportunity to join our Portsmouth Habourgate team, to work remotely as a Senior Payroll Specialist.

What you will do:
- Co-ordinate the end-to-end payroll process for France and a small number of countries within the EMEA region-
- Collation, data entry and processing of various payroll related transactions:- Ensure the processing of new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations is accurate, compliant, and timely.-
- Complete all post payroll activities in a timely and accurate manner: i.e., Inputting, checking and reconciling the payroll information to achieve accurate, timely and compliant payments to employees, government agencies and third-party providers (pensions, social security, health insurances etc).-
- Verifies payroll tax/social contributions filing for all legal entities-
- Management reporting, including monthly results, quarterly and year-end reports (i.e., gross payroll, tax deductions, benefit deductions, etc.).-
- Administer compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements, ensuring deadlines are met.-
- Resolving payroll queries from employees and other key stakeholders i.e., HR, Finance etc.-
- Updating standard operating procedure (SOP) documents each month as required.-
- Provide back up in the team for other countries as required- Who you are:
- Master’s degree or 5 years of experience in payroll function

- )_- Knowledge and experience of ADP, SAP, Workday, Kronos -(

- )_- In-depth knowledge and experience of payroll calculation and processing

- )_- Significant experience of French payroll, knowledge of French payroll legislation and statutory obligations (4-7years minimum) (required)-
- Working experience of payroll tax at the state and local levels (4-7 years minimum) (required)-
- Fluent French and English, both orally and in writing - Required-
- High degree of accuracy and good attention to detail.-
- Excellent communication, time management and organization skills-
- Good PC skills, including intermediate Excel (Pivot Table, Vlookup) - Required-
- Ability to work under own initiative to drive efficiency and new ideas for a better working environment.-
- The motivation and determination to be curious and increase their own knowledge by asking questions and using all available resources.-
- Must have the ability to recognize potential problems at an early stage and work towards identifying solutions.-
- A strong customer focus and forge strong collaboration with internal and external customers.-
