At Record, we design, manufacture, supply, install and service the UK’s most comprehensive range of automated door systems and aluminium shopfronts in our production facility outside Glasgow to a wide range of organisations and customers throughout the UK. This includes many Blue-Chip end-users, Main Contractors, Developers and specialist Façade & Fabricator providers.

Due to continued growth and high demand for its services, the company is now seeking to recruit a Trainee Business Administrator working from the head office in Blantyre.

This role would be ideal for someone who has recently completed an HNC/HND in Business Administration and looking take the next step in their career.

The main responsibilities of the role are:

- Manage the reception, which involves answering calls and diverting to the correct department.
- Undertaking general administrative / 5S tasks and database management.
- Support various internal teams with the management of external customer portals.
- Process new sales opportunities on to the CRM database.
- Support the Sales-team with the management of ‘quick-quote’ core-install proposals.
- Support the QS with the management of Sub-Contract order processes.
- Creation and management of quote and project files on company server.
- Process new sales orders, including updating CRM and creating new project records on Sage.
- Contribute to ISO Business Management system.
- Provide reception cover answering calls during lunches and periods of absence.

**Essential criteria**

Essential criteria for the position includes:

- Previous experience in a similar role, with excellent customer service skills.
- A motivated and tactful individual with a strong willingness to learn.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- High level of computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Office, CRM and Sage.
- High standard of written and spoken communication.
- Quick learner.

**Additional Information**

**Hours**: 40 hours per week.

**Holidays**: 33 days

**Salary**: Negotiable - dependent on experience.

**Location**: Record UK, unit D, 9 Watt Place, Hamilton International Park, Blantyre, G72 0AH
