Legal & General are currently looking for an **IT Partner & Supplier Manager**who will be responsible for the commercial and contractual relationships with our third-party providers.

In this role you will be responsible for the management of the commercial and contractual relationships with allocated key suppliers, throughout the lifecycle of the agreement. You will **manage contract performance** and identify and **deliver additional value** into the Legal & General supply chain through **interaction with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.** Key duties will include:
- Manage key supplier contracts, ensuring all business & L&G policy changes are supported by external vendors through account development and management.
- **Implement and promote rigorous governance** throughout supplier relationships and own relevant interfaces into the organisation.
- Identify opportunities to **drive value and improve the performance** of the existing and potential supply base, seeking ways to drive innovation in processes, reduce costs, reduce risks, improve performance ensuring compliance and alignmentwith L&G policy and framework.
- To **manage the governance** of key supplier relationships ensuring that commercial obligations are adhered to including completion of due diligence such as Business Continuity, Risk, Exit Plans.
- **Maintain and build business relationships** with suppliers to ensure that delivery schedules are achieved, and that favourable terms can be agreed with the supplier to suit business needs.
- To support Group-wide supply chain corporate social responsibility, risk, and project issues to **minimise operational and reputational risks**.
- **Control the commercial change process for key performance indicators/SLAs** to ensure that the indicators in use are providing internal stakeholders with the visibility needed of the operation.
- A strong **understanding of contract law** to be able to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities and to be able to ensure supplier delivery to the required quality will be required.
- A demonstrable **knowledge of techniques to deliver continuous cost savings** and add value to business units is a must for the role.
- Understanding of **contract negotiation and contract/supplier management** best practise is essential.
- Understanding of **supplier governance** and its implementation for different agreements/services - particularly relating to **PRA compliance**, will be required.
- **Excellent interpersonal and project management skills** with a track record of **building effective relationships** with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and **good influencing skills** is essential.
- Experience in **large organisations**, similar in size and structure to L&G will be essential - ideally within **financial services.**:

- Experience with **Sharepoint** would be beneficial.
- The ability to produce packs, reports and **presentations with meaningful MI** would be advantageous.
