Blade Operator

**Job Description Summary**: The Blade operator will be responsible for supporting and continuing to drive improvements in the manufacture, quality and output of Composite Propeller Blades for both new make & repair & overhaul.

The role involves the execution of manual processes either on a permanent shift or rotating shift pattern in a production environment.

**Essential Responsibilities:

- Bonding.
- Polyurethane coat spraying, Painting and Finishing.
- Identifying and Implementing process improvements.
- Identify and hold responsibility for Quality & Environment, Health & Safety issues.
- Repairing.

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Demonstrate their ability to work as an effective team player, taking ownership and accountability for quality and EHS standards.
- Adopt a flexible approach to gaining new skills and working across cells within the Dowty Brockworth site.
- Demonstrate personal drive and motivation to identify and implement process improvements.
- Demonstrate experience of working in a flow line production environment and be familiar with materials processing.
- Demonstrate good manual dexterity.
