About the company...

REED Property & Construction are looking for a Junior Estimator to join our client's fantastic commercial team who can provide the opportunity to grow and develop your estimating skills with a variety of projects and ongoing support. Projects include anythingfrom schools and hospitals to research facilities, churches and community buildings. This company has been running for 5 generations. Projects are a mixture of construction, refurbishment, and Design & Build.

The main focus of this role is to assist with the pricing of tenders including completing subcontractor price comparisons and adjudication of subcontractor quotations.

About the role...
- Assist with the tender submission and preparation of tender documents.
- Production of bill of quantities - a full understanding of all elements is not a necessity but a good understanding of the principles SMM7/NMR2 would be required.
- Splitting tender documents into subcontract packages.
- Liaising with supply chain for chasing quotes etc.
