Blue Arrow Edinburgh are currently recruiting for a Fundraising Administrator for our client based in the North of Edinburgh. This exciting role involves working within a small team united by their love and admiration for all animals

35 Hours per week - Office based with the opportunity for hybrid working

*please note this is a 1-2 month temporary assignment with the opportunity for extension*
- Co-ordinating with the Database and Insights Officer and finance team to ensure all income is recorded and thanked in a timely manner.
- Assisting the finance and business support team with counting donations and banking where needed.
- Working with the Fundraising Database Administrator and Business Support team to ensure the database is kept accurate and up-to-date by recording changes including mailing preferences and address details.
- Support with project-based administration for regular donations, Sponsorship and Memory Tree schemes, key fundraising events and appeals.
- Assist with the day-to-day support of the fundraising office volunteers, providing guidance and support where needed.
- Supporting on the day at the companies' key events such as the annual Open Day.
- Any other tasks which are consistent with the duties and responsibilities of this post.
- Experience of providing administrative support to a busy team
- Cash handling and banking experience
- Experience of using a CRM database
- Experience of working to multiple, competing deadlines and ability to prioritise
- Experience of working within a team and individually to achieve success.
- Experience of working in a result driven, fast paced environment
- Experience of working with volunteers
- Knowledge of GDPR regulations and the Fundraising Codes of Practice
- Confident in own ability and able to speak up if unsure or to make suggestions and recommendations
- Appreciation for animal welfare and comfortable around office dogs
