An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Fracture and Orthopaedic outpatient team across Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB)

We are looking to appoint a band 3 Plaster Room Support Worker based in the plaster room of the Royal Gwent Hospital, who will under supervision, assist in providing the Orthopaedic Casting and Bracing service within Scheduled care and across various sites throughout ABUHB; primarily within Fracture and Orthopaedic clinics but also wards, theatres, and Emergency departments (ED) if the need arises. The post holder will contribute to fracture clinic provision by supporting staff in the fracture or orthopaedic clinics on a regular basis.

**The successful applicant will have**:
Good communication skills and verbal and written.

A Level / NVQ level 3 qualification or equivalent demonstrable knowledge and experience

Able to travel between sites on a regular basis.

Able to work on own initiative.

Motivated and an enthusiastic team player.

Flexible and adaptable to change.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
