**Location**:The Ammerdown Centre, Ammerdown Park, Radstock, BA3 5SW

**Purpose and Objectives**:To look after guests and their needs, as well as support different departments with a variety of different tasks. To ensure the safety of guests at all times.

**Responsible to**:The Lead Manager

**Hours of work: Friday and Saturday** evenings 5-11pm

On call overnight Friday and Saturday 11pm - 8am. The Concierge will sleep on site.

Sleeping allowance paid £30 per night. Call out £12.50 per hour.

**Payscale**:Pay £12.50 per hour Friday and Saturday 5-11pm

Bedroom provided for this role.

**MAIN TASKS**
- To provide a warm welcome to guests.
- To attend to guests’ requests
- To set up the dining hall for the next service.
- To serve at the bar and keep the bar area clean
- To clean and tidy the centre as requested.
- To answer the telephone and deal with the enquiries.
- To help with the general smooth running of the Ammerdown Centre as requested
- To support kitchen staff with clearing up and wash up
- To carry out administration tasks as requested.
- To ensure high standards of hygiene in all areas.
- To ensure the safety of guests at all times.
- To take the lead in the case of an emergency.

To carry out any duties as requested by The Lead Manager as necessary

- To take part in any training as necessary.
- **YOU MAY ALSO BE REQUIRED TO UNDERTAKE SUCH OTHER ROLES AND DUTIES AS THE AMMERDOWN CENTRE CONSIDER APPROPRIATE FROM TIME TO TIME, HAVING REGARD TO YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE. FLEXIBILITY IS ALSO REQUIRED.**_

**ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**

Relevant experience in similar role

High standards in presentation

Training provided in Fire Safety and First Aid

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 12 per week
