AC Steels is a family run business in Walsall. We are currently expanding into a new location and branching out into new manufacturing areas to cover laser cutting and CNC profiling.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for mechanical design, system design, and build projects
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop accurate and precise technical drawings
- Ensure that all drawings adhere to industry standards and regulations
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback and specifications
- Generate bills of materials (BOMs) for production purposes
- Create manufacturing detailing to suit company standards
- Support onsite installers with querys

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in CAD software - Advance Steel experience is highly advantageous (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and techniques
- Knowledge of system design concepts and practices
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines

Note: Prior experience in graphic design or interior design is a plus, but not required.
