**What role you will play in our team**:
An opportunity for a dynamic and self-motivated Occupational Hygiene professional to join the ExxonMobil UK Medicine & Occupational Health Department, based at the Fawley Manufacturing Complex in Hampshire. This person will provide comprehensive Occupational Hygiene services to the ExxonMobil Sites across the United Kingdom.

This vacancy would suit either an experienced Occupational Hygienist or someone within the early stages of a professional career in Occupational Hygiene.

This role will encourage continuous professional development, both academic and vocational. Perks include but are not limited to a highly competitive salary, a company share incentive scheme, subsidised private health care, and a final salary pension. This person would be expected to live a commutable distance from Fawley site and be prepared to travel within the UK and globally as required. Comprehensive relocation package is available (location dependent).

**What you will do**:

- Performs Occupational Hygiene monitoring and assessment and control of health risks.
- Develops and prioritize annual planning for UK sites.
- Provides Professional Occupational Hygiene support / guidance to all UK sites.
- Implements new improvement / enhancement initiatives.
- Provides OIMS (Operation Integrity Management System) Health System support.
- Supports global common systems development, implementation and continuous improvement.
- Participates in the development and local implementation of Health hazard control programs.
- Business travel will be required.

**About you**:

- Achieved or working towards British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) Licentiate membership grade or equivalent.
- Fluent in English (Verbal and writing).
- Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills (verbally & in writing) with a hands-on and practical attitude.
- Well organized and able to manage multiple task simultaneously.
- Proactive, with an ability to anticipate, identify and resolve potential issues.
- Effective leadership skills, including influencing with no direct authority.
- Full UK Driving license (including Manual).

**Preferred Qualifications/ Experience**:

- Degree in a science related discipline such as chemistry, engineering or environmental science (preferred).
- Post academic Occupational Hygiene degree (preferred).
- Working experience within the (petro-)chemical industry (preferred).
