**IDEAL ROLE FOR A MARKETING EXECUTIVE READY FOR THE NEXT STEP UP & PEOPLE MANAGEMENT**

**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To line manage the marketing
- To lead and co-ordinate the day to day marketing and PR for our performance and visual arts programme including in-house productions
- To provide day to day marketing and promotional support for all fundraising activity; courses and workshops; cinema screenings and visual arts exhibitions;
- To support the marketing and promotion of all commercial activities

**JOB DESCRIPTION - SPECIFIC**

**Management**
- Recruit, line manage, appraiseand motivate the marketing team, encouraging apro-active working culture, providing support, development opportunities and training as required;
- Ensure effective communication of marketing and promotional strategies to the marketing team;
- Work closely with other departments to ensure a joined up approach.

**Finance**
- Manage delegated expenditure to ensure it is used effectively and efficiently and remains within the agreed budget, and make recommendations for the setting of each annual budget;
- With the Sales and Marketing Director, monitor sales targets for all arts and commercial activities, including: ticket sales, courses/workshops and commercial hires and events

**Marketing, PR and print production**
- Oversee and support the timely delivery of effective marketing and promotional campaigns for visiting professional and amateur companies and our in-house productions;
- Promotion of the annual programme of cinema screenings to increase attendance, revenue, general awareness and audience development;
- Promotion of all courses and workshops - performing and visual arts, to increase attendance, revenue and PR, with particular focus on the specialist arts studios: printmaking; ceramics and jewellery and silversmithing, online, in print and in the media;
**Commercial activity**
- Implement the marketingand promotion of all commercial business opportunities,such as: fairs (eg. craft and wedding); corporate events (eg. conferences, seminars, away days and business meetings); parties; wedding receptions; wakes and filming opportunities;
- Audience development
- Implement audience development strategies to attract a more diverse demographic for all art forms;
- Work closely with the learning andparticipation team to encourage greater engagement with schools and colleges.

**Brand**
- Implement brand consistency across all printed and online marketing materials and campaigns.

**General**
- Represent South Hill Park as an ambassador for the organisation at press nights, performances, meetings and events;
- Undertake any other duties as may be reasonably requested by the Sales and MarketingDirector;
- Actively contribute to a healthy and safe environment.

**EXPERIENCE**
- Leadership and team management
- Professional marketing experience
- Working to and meeting annual financial targets
- Managing budgets
- Excellent IT skills
- Ability to lead on digital media platforms, including; website and social networking
- Producing print
- Generating media coverage
