This highly successful and growing organisation based in Chorley is looking to add an experienced DataOps Engineer with solid skills in SQL, Java/C# and dealing with datasets to their IT team.
The successful DataOps Engineer will be part of a dynamic IT team with the ability to work on high impact project roles. Responsibilities will include you maintaining and optimising database, reports, queries and forms. You will have an interest in new andevolving best practice within database technologies and understand requirements to translate into new features. Ideally you will have 2-3 years commercial experience in a similar developer role.
Core Skills for this DataOps Engineer role:

- Experience working with large data sets and developing SQL scripts
- Investigating customer support issues and performing data fixes
- Database support
- Excellent system reporting skills
- Review and understanding existing database structure and suggesting improvements
Interpersonal skills
- Well organised, self-motivated, and able to successfully work under tight project deadlines.
- Good communication skills - both written and verbal (to elicit clear requirements and communicate solutions)
- Able to work well as part of a team, but also to be self-motivated when working alone
