Position Overview: We are seeking a Temporary Housekeeper to join our team in Cardiff Bay. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within our facilities. Your primary objective will be to ensure that all assigned areas are well-maintained, providing a comfortable and inviting environment for our guests. This is a temporary position, and the duration of employment will be determined based on specific needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning and Sanitization: Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of assigned areas, including guest rooms, common areas, corridors, and restrooms. Follow established cleaning procedures, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained at all times.

Room Preparation: Prepare guest rooms for new arrivals, ensuring all amenities and supplies are adequately stocked. Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and toiletries as necessary.

Maintenance: Report any maintenance issues, damages, or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel promptly. Take necessary steps to ensure the safety and comfort of guests, such as addressing spills, leaks, or other potential hazards.

Organization and Inventory: Maintain an organized and well-stocked supply room, ensuring cleaning supplies, linens, and other essential items are readily available. Keep track of inventory levels and notify the supervisor when restocking is required.

Guest Assistance: Provide assistance and respond to guest inquiries or requests promptly and professionally. Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing their needs and concerns to the best of your ability or directing them to the appropriate staff members.

Compliance: Adhere to all safety and health regulations, including proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals. Follow established procedures for waste disposal and recycling, promoting an environmentally friendly approach.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff members to ensure efficient operations. Assist colleagues as needed and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related role is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, supplies, and equipment.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic environment.
