The Role

Seasonal Passenger Customer Service Agents work on a 24/7 shift basis within the Customer Service Division, participating in check-In and terminal operations, delivering excellent customer service to passengers on our Freight and Passenger services.
As the first point of contact for customers arriving at the terminal, the Check-In Agent must provide excellent customer service, in a warm and welcoming manner.

Principal Accountabilities / Qualifications and Experience

Collection of correct tolls payable at the Check-In.
Verification and check of prepaid tickets.
Ensuring our pet customers are travel ready by checking for and processing the correct documentation.
The optimising and overseeing of loading passenger trains from the over bridge, to ensure fully loaded and on time departures.
A valid Driving Licence and Passport are essential.
In accordance with the Working Time Regulation Act 1998, you must be 18 years or over, at the time of taking up appointment, due to shift work being required.
Excellent communication and customer service kills.
Previous experience of working in a customer facing role.
Experience of cash handling would be an advantage, but is not essential.
Competence in Microsoft Office, Outlook, web tools and phone-based apps.
Experience of working shifts, preferably on a 24-hour basis is desirable.
The ability to communicate in French and/or another European language is desirable.
